The 2's room is full of imagination, big emotions, and even bigger personalities. It's one of our favorite ages — and one of the most important for building confidence and language.
What we focus on
Curriculum & Daily Life
Imagination kicks in and we run with it. Dramatic play, pretend kitchens, art with their hands, and lots of outdoor time. We weave in early literacy through storytime and rhymes, and start introducing simple concepts like colors, shapes, and counting — through play, not worksheets. Emotional vocabulary ('I'm frustrated,' 'I need help') is a big focus here too.
This is one of our favorite ages — big personalities, big feelings, and so much growth. We meet every child where they are.
Imaginative & Dramatic Play
Pretend kitchens, costumes, and open-ended play give Twos a safe, joyful space to explore big ideas and process even bigger feelings.
Enrichment Activities
Music, art, storytime, and seasonal events are woven into every single week — keeping curious minds engaged and always having a great time.
